Ivan Chakalov - Dentist

Ivan graduated from The Medical University of Sofia as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).  He has 15 years of experience in Dentistry, most of them working as a General Practitioner in Hampshire and West Susses.  He is committed to continuously improving his theoretical and practical skills.  In 2018, Ivan was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Endodontics with Merit from the University of Chester, England.

Ivan is passionate about modern minimally invasive dentistry, utilising modern materials, adhesives and techniques to achieve life like restorations, whilst maintaining the natural dentition.  He has completed a masterclass in direct anterior and posterior aesthetic composite restorations in London.  He also provides adult focused, short-term orthodontic treatments, to straighten teeth, without the need for a full course of orthodontic therapy.

Ivan makes a special effort to ensure his patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, whilst taking the time to ensure that they can make treatment decisions that are right for them.

In his time away from dentistry Ivan spends time with his wife and two young children.  He enjoys cycling, snowboarding and camping.
